“Good basic hotel for overnights”

  , Chattanooga
We stayed here one night only in a king bed non-smoking room on the second floor. We already knew where it was located, so I can advise those who don't to be aware once you turn up the hill from Barrett Pkwy, veer to the left to get to the hotel once you pass the restaurant "On The Border", then follow the Days Inn lit signs, or you will get lost. Our room was clean, had most everything we needed but an extra blanket, although there was a pull out couch, we didn't see if it was tucked under the seat cushions. Turned the heat on and it gave off a burnt odor, so I turned off. It wasn't cold in the room per se without it. The king bed had a dip in the middle so my husband and I had a hard time staying on our sides of the bed, which we usually have dogs in between us that we would have crushed if they had travelled with us.The desk area needed a desk lamp or something, as the closest lighting fixture would not illuminate the desk. Important if your trying to do business there. We missed the breakfast which I thought could have run to 10:00am, the shower was clean and had ample hot water and good water pressure.I think the Wingate right next door would have been better but they were full so this is their sister property. I think for under $60 this was great for one night.
