“Renovations”

The hotel was under renovations while I was there. The room was supposed to have a microwave and a fridge - it had neither. I was told they were being changed out. The bathroom was a mess, it looked like a rookie home improvement guy had been in there right before I arrived. However, his work couldn't account for how small the bathroom was to begin with. Overall I was pretty disappointed. I have used Days Inn in the past across the country and never had any kind of issues or complaints. I'm not planning on staying here again in the future. I had originally planned to stay for three nights, but ended up not needing to stay that extra evening. I was able to give the front desk 24 hours notice and was told that there was nothing they could do because I had booked online. I have no idea why that would make any kind of difference when I booked it through their hotel family site. When I called the main company office I was told that it was up to each individual hotel as to how they handle cancellations. Also, the internet barely worked. You have been warned.
