“Never Again”

I booked here because I needed something near Reynoldsburg at a cheap price, preferably with a mini fridge and microwave in-room. The hotel interior looks nothing like their photos.I knew the area wasn't great, but I expected more from a well known hotel chain. I walked up and the sliding doors don't work. You have to pull them apart about 2 inches and then they would open and close. - OK. Not terrible, just a pain. I go to check in and, I'll be honest, I had a bad vibe the second I stepped in the door. I didnt feel safe. The woman at the counter was nice. I finally get my stuff in and go up to the room. The room was bad. Only the entry light and one bedside light worked. It looked dirty. The bed was all springs, no cush. Smelled like it was a smoking room and they just changed the signs without a deep clean. I turned on the blower on the heat/air unit. It was really old and worn. Loud as all get out! I still didn't feel safe(or comfortable) in my locked up room. So I checked out. I wanted a full refund. They'd only give me one night of two. Ok, fine. I checked my bank account after that. They'd charged me at check in ON TOP of the hold they put on it. I contacted the manager the next day to have her process the refund and release the hold. She was rude and gave me an attitude when I told her my bank requested she call and provide the release code. (Yes. I dared go to my bank about it. *snort*) I ended up staying across the street at the more expensive LQ with no fridge and microwave.
