“My Experience”

  , Cleveland
Location was easy. Check in was not so great. My room was available but the problem was with the clerks. upon arrival, I had 4 8 yr olds and my son. The clerk tells me the room only allows five persons. I say ok, it will only be five. I go to car get our items and come back, the clerk says maam you only 5 in the room, I say ok again, she says you can purchase bands for ten dollars, I say ok again, bcuz my son leaving anyway, he was just helping me actually, I go back to my car she say maam if you need more tickets, they are 10 dollars, I say to myself, why couldnt she tell me about any amenities of the hotel such as what time and where is breakfast, pool hours, that the keys dont match the front door locks leading to the atrium, the important stuff. I did not appreciate being hounded about bands and room occupants. In the pool are my mom, my aunt and sister came to bring gifts for my daughter, the staff says to us, you cant be in this area without a band, we're like relax, nobody is even here in the pool area, the staff says well, there can only be two adults, the four of you is too much. I say well where do we sit then if Im going to be scrutinized about having some family come visit. Besides it being about 15 other unsupervised children in the pool, the four of us had a better outlook on all the kids there instead of just two of us. I just felt like they were picking for no reason and do not plan to return because of that, I could not fully enjoy myself with the children in fear of what am I doing wrong now or what are they about to say to me now. When finally did get to breakfast, that was the only thing good about the trip and the man that worked in that area was actually the nicest person I had encountered there so far.
