“Sleep might have been nice.”

  , Indy
It was difficult to get to sleep as I usually have a SHEET on my bed at home - not just a fitted and a comforter that I just know some naked stranger was sitting on the night before. And, are your mattresses made of s? I suspect that they might be. I went with friends (we had several rooms on the same night). We got back to the hotel rather late so only being able to sort of sleep (bed/bedding) until 6am was not ideally either: At 6am, about every ten minutes, I could hear a foghorn like sound in my room (other showers? some machine next to my room? I have no idea). Considering the only reason I got a room was to have a place to sleep, the fact that I barely was able before my several hour drive back home wasn't wonderful. It was a bit of a hassle to have to walk over a drying/freshly poured sidewalk to get in and out of the hotel too, but I imagine that is out of Days Inn's control. The valet/hops at the door were very pleasant. It would be nice if your TVs had a "sleep" function on them. Maybe not a big thing, but I like to fall asleep to TV but if it's on ALL night, I don't sleep as well - I guess that wasn't really the reason the night I stayed though... I've just never been in a hotel with a TV that didn't have an option to shut off after a certain amount of time. One last thing, I might suggest having electrical outlets in better spots (move the desks around?) as I had to crawl on the carpet to find a place to charge my items. Gross. I guess I should say some nice things too? The breakfast room was nice and the food was just perfect. All of the staff I came across were very friendly. The design of the bathroom is updated and the shower was very pleasant.
