“Love the staff but this motel is in need of some work!”

We have stayed at this motel on several occasions over the past 7 years. This visit was by far the worst and we considered leaving a few times. I think there may be long term residents at this establishment. Granted, it is Okmulgee and I wouldn't think there would be too many tourists. This motel would be nice again if they would fix small things like shower curtain rods, toilets, handles on the showers, sinks, clean the carpets, paint the walls... okay, it might be an undertaking! The water coming from the sink and shower faucet was orange/red/brown initially. We did hear 2 trains at night that were pretty loud! But they are rare. Cheapest motel (listed online) in town but we really considered paying the extra $30 to stay elsewhere. The staff was very helpful and kind in all of our questions and complaints. The motel just needs some money poured into it. The bed was very comfortable!!!!!!
