“Cold, but too tired to care.”

Stayed in room 10, Check-in was uneventful. hotel obviously an older model and was cheap, bearable. Son and I got to the room, we were exhausted, so even though the room was around 55 degrees, we set the heat on high and crashed. When I awoke a few hours later, the temperature of the room hadn't moved, but I was too tired to ask for a new room, and the blankets were warm, so I just went back to sleep. The shower in the morning was interesting as we had to jump out into a cold room. The great kicker was in the morning the exceedingly poor breakfast (thawed, soggy frozen waffles, pastries from the late 90s, and NO FRUIT) gave me the same reaction as the front office staff's "I'll tell someone" (with no eye contact or even an "I'm sorry for your experience"), after I told her of the problem we had.I'm not really mad, just disappointed that Days Inn has its name on a hotel of such poor quality. I have had many satisfactory experience with the chain in the past.
