“DO NOT STAY HERE”

  , Scarborough
Poor service, poor attitudes, poor facilities. The first room we got (301)smelled musty, and felt damp. The bedding and floor was stained, and the queen beds we paid for turned out to be twin/full in actuality. When we questioned (politely) at the desk, the ill-mannered, skinny redhead was adamant that was a legitimate queen sized bed. I showed her Google, and Wikipediea's measurements for a standard queen size bed, and she still refused to relent. I was told I could change to another room with a living area, or cancel my reservation and find another room in Niagara falls on the Friday night of the Victoria Day long weekend.I have 2 children, 5 and 9, and I couldn't take any chances we wouldn't be able to get a room as we were there for 3 nights, so I elected to change rooms. Room 301 was much better in terms of cleanliness - no stains on the floors or bedding, and no musty smell. One bright spot. Samantha, who worked on the Sunday, was the only one who seemed to care about their patrons. Always smiled, offered friendly suggestions to us on tattoo parlors, and gave us directions to resturaunts in the area, and inquired after how we were enjoying our weekend, and made an attempt to show interest. She should be promoted. The other skinny, ill-mannered redhead should be fired on attitude alone. She's the only reason this garbage hotel is getting a 2.If you don't believe me, inquire around the Clifton Hill area of Niagara Falls, the business owners and employees have nothing pleasant to say about that Days Inn.
