“Days Inn Lundy's Lane”

The staff was very pleasant. The hotel was just okay. The room was basically clean, with the exception of the stained and dingy carpet. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The sink was a bit rusty. However, the overwhelming reason I would NOT stay here again is that when I stepped into the room it felt like there was no air. It was not hot or humid or smelly; the only way I can describe it is stuffy, though I'm not sure if that's exactly it. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I turned in the A/C and left it on while we went to dinner, but that didn't help at all. If the window opened I'm sure that would have solved the problem. Also, we didn't use the pool but the location of it was very odd. There are windows out to the front of the building/parking lot and into the lobby, so I don't think I would have felt comfortable there. We ate at the attached restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and it was just okay. I probably wouldn't return to either.
