“Poor Guest Service”

Although we were advised of many things when we checked in(including the parking fee of $10), we were not advised of the "overflow" parking lot that existed. I think staff need to inform guests of this when they check-in. Unfortunately there were no spots around the building that were available when we came back from being out all night. We had to park across the street at the Courtyard by Marriot. Found this to be a huge incovenience, not to mention risked our car being parked in another lot(in the very back, in the dark). However, what bothered me the most was my interaction with the front desk staff, it was definately not a positive experience. No apology or showing that the staff care about their guests was illustrated. When I spoke to the night front desk agent regarding this, she told me to speak to Michelle in the morning. Passing the buck or what? Horrible guest service, not very friendly at all, and clearly no empowerment from its employees. I basically paid for a parking spot that was never used because in the morning the front desk agent wouldn't reverse the charge. The front desk staff automatically ASSUMED we knew about this "other lot" (I still have no clue where it is located)...unfortunately it is not so obvious if you have never stayed there before, and they need to be aware of this. I definately will not be staying here again, guest service is very very poor.
