“Don't do it!”

Pay the extra $20 and stay at the Courtyard by Marriott right down the road. I've never had a hotel clerk announce my room number with other guests in the lobby (scary looking guests at that)! They ALWAYS point to the room number and say "this is your room number" which is very much appreciated when a woman is traveling alone! The place is run down, the room was the tiniest I've ever been in. There was literally maybe a foot between the end of the bed and the TV stand. No alarm clock and no plug-ins close to the bed for my iPhone. Glad I didn't have leftovers to store in the fridge because it wasn't plugged in...the door was shut, so the inside must smell delightful! The room didn't feel, look or smell clean. The sheets were so thin you could literally see through them. I really battled with myself as to whether or not I was going to stay or just eat the $79 and go elsewhere. You can get a very nice room and impressive continental breakfast at Phoenix Inn Suites for the same price, but it wasn't close enough. The TV color was really messed up, but there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. Will never stay here again.
