“very poor stay”

I was greeted after a few moments of waiting. I was late for a meeting and checked in quickly. When I returned that night I noticed several young people also at the hotel, which does not bother me. The first nights room's bed felt like a box spring. At about 10:30 pm I heard the young people in the hall say lets go to a movie. Things were quiet. But the room on top of mine had several people in it also At about 2:00am they all returned and proceeded to talk in the room next store and go in and out of the hallway. Eventually I did call the front desk and they picked up after several rings. They assisted and the room next store did become a bit calmer. The next morning I left the hotel at 8:00 with my luggage and asked for a new room at the end of the hallway on the top floor away from any other group. The staff was kind and made the change. That evening I returned to the Hotel late and went to my room. This time I was next door to a new group of young people that played music and crashed things loudly. The bed was softer and I made a phone call again to the office at about 1:00 am . The staff came up and asked them to be quiet... which was not successful. When I checked out in the morning the staff did not give me eye contact or apologize for my two nights of no good sleep. I realize this is a college town, would it not seem appropriate to put groups on one half of the hotel away from the other guests?
