Exterior of the Hotel looks nice. Upon entering the Lobby, I had a sense of cramp, the lobby was small and that included the breakfast area which is also cramped. Check in personnel was friendly and efficient. Upon check in I was informed that Pool heater is not working... we choice this hotel particularly for the pool access, I feel like our trip is ruined. I even called the day before to make sure the pool is operational, and now, it's not.Room was clean, but the Bathroom is under PAR in term of size, make me feel like I'm in a Motel 6. Shower however is spacious, but we were hopping for a tub. Business center is 2 computers on a desk at the end of the hall way on 2nd floor balcony area... I'd give it a passing score. Night time, I went down to ask for a blanket. a white woman who speaks loudly is talking to 2 Indian male employees about night auditing procedure, before I reach the elevator on 2nd floor I can hear everything she is saying. I ask for a blanket, she made a gesture for one of the guy to go in the room behind the front desk with her. comes out in about 5 to 10 sec, told me that there is only a set amount of blankets in a first come first serve base, and they are out of blankets. I did not contest, I simply told her thank you and went back to bed. I personally worked and manage night operation of a Hampton Inn in Charleston, SC for 4 years. I can count with my 2 hands how many times we "ran out of blanket" to give. I would never told a guest that until I check all my linen closet thruout the hotel and even out of service rooms before I tell a guest such statement. I would feel very apologetic as well if I was to tell a guest we don't have what you want... I definitely did not feel that way from her tone. You know the saying that goes "it's not what you say, it's how you say it."
