“Mold, humid, broken lamps, smokey”

  , Atlanta
We booked a three night stay at this hotel and we left after the first night. My son was crawling on the floor and it turned his knees and feet black. All our feet were blackened from the carpet. The carpet felt sticky. The bathroom floor had mold on the floor and the walls. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. One of the lights was broken - it wasn't the bulb because I tried switching it out. The room felt humid - I guess it was from the AC. The sheets were very scratchy and we had bite marks in the morning... bed bugs?! The whole thing was very outdated, which I don't mind as long as it's clean... but it wasn't. In the hallways you could see spots on the walls from where things used to be hanging by the discoloration. The pool looked like it had stuff growing in it - and they didn't provide towels for it. There was no free breakfast on the weekends - only week days, but you could go to the in-hotel restaurant "Neon Cactus" to buy breakfast. At first I thought maybe I've just been a little spoiled, but there was a whole group of us staying and almost everyone else jumped ship as well. We had a group discount rate of $89, and it didn't deserve more than $50 at the most. Also the outside of the hotel was so worn down that I drove past it a few times thinking that it wasn't the right place. Terrible.
