“NEVER AGAIN!!!”

  , Berkley
Upon arriving my wife and I started calling around to make reservations elsewhere. Why? The hotel looked trashy and seeing three of the maids smoking right outside the office did not help. Since the cancellation policy stated we would have to pay for a night we had no choice but to stay. The room was unclean (dirty walls, mildew in the too high tub & a dingy looking rug with ripples in it), REEKED of stale cigarette smoke and I noticed the box springs were bare and that looked tacky. We checked out on a Sunday but before we left the fire alarm started going off. I looked outside and saw two cleaning ladies several rooms down going about their business. So, I called the front desk and inquired if there was a fire and was told "No." I then inquired if we need to evacuate or worry and was told, "No." That was it....no apology or explanation offered. The alarm went off an entire HOUR as we prepared to leave. I paid $184 for the week-end and do not feel it was in anyway worth the money. I am married with 3 children (5, 4 and 2) and can count on one hand how many times we have been out of town the past five years and I'm SO disappointed that the stay at this hotel was one of them. While we enjoyed the reunion we attended at a friends house we dreaded returning to your hotel. -Chris Olson (husband of Dharini Olson)
