“In need of some cleaning”

We recently stayed at your hotel. The check-in went well. But once we got into our room, it went downhill from there. The room smelled "stale"...a room air freshener is needed. As we started to get get ready for bed, I turned down the one bed and instantly saw that the comforter had SEVERAL cigarette burn marks throughout. One was big enough that I could stick my finger entirely through it. I put the comforter on the floor and then looked at that blanket. That, too, was full of stains. I called to the front desk asking for additional blankets and informed the front desk clerk what I found. She was very apologetic and delivered a newly washed comforter and blanket to me within minutes. I could tell she felt very bad for this situation. I realize Days Inn is not a 5 star hotel, but this location is in serious need of a good, thorough cleaning. It smelled old and stale...and the linens need to be replaced with new.
