“I was traveling from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh and...”

  , London, Ont.
I was traveling from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh and leaving Washington D.C. very late at night, so I realized I needed a place to stay close to Pittsburgh and found Somerset off the Pennsylvania turnpike. I arrived at about 3:30 a.m. and the front desk woman was very polite and helpful. She told me that since I arrived so late they could bump back the check out time to 12 p.m. instead of 11 a.m., which was great. The room was what I expected, nothing fancy, a bed and bathroom facilities, which was all that I needed. The two lights over the bed were burnt out, but at that point I didn't need it since I only needed a place to sleep. The room was clean and from everything I could see the area was safe. When I checked out in the morning the front desk staff knew I had come in late, so they let me use the toaster to get some food since I missed breakfast. Overall, it was a good experience since all I needed was a place to sleep on my way to Pittsburgh. The employees were especially helpful.
