“weekend shopping trip”

Been to this hotel before, however this stay will probably be my last. Arrived in evening after long day of work and travel. Upon arrival-room smelled very musty/moldy. Turned on airconditioner-went out to dinner, came back room still smelled. Went to bed-woke up about 1am-carpet around bathroom & one wall wet soaking wet. Checked bathroom toilet & sink nothing was leaking. Since nothing was leaking-knew that this occurred before our arrival. Reported this to desk clerk in the am-he asked why we didn't call right away-our response was it was 1 am & 37 degrees out-no active leaks. We were exhausted and didn't want to move to another room in the middle of the night. After speaking with the desk cler, we were moved to another room. When checking out on Sunday am-spoke to the manager (since he wasn't there on Saturday)-asked if the hotel would give some type of compensation since the three of us had to re-pack & move to another room-his reply was we got a discount-we paid for 2 people and had 3 in a room. Basically, he was telling me I was stealing from the hotel-I replied I have a receipt showing paid for 3 adults and 1 room from Friday thru Sunday. He appologized and gave us 10% off our first night-but in my opinion that was not enough. Felt the firt night should have been refunded.
