“Bad experience”

The stay started off bad when we get to location and half the parking lot is blocked off and had to parkin the back and try to check in and get a parking spot. We then learned we had to pay $30 to park in the parking lot of the hotel we paid to sleep in!!! Come to find out we couldnt find a parking spot due to the fact they were selling them to anyone else that would pay to park to go to the race. It got worse when we got back to the room after the race and it smelled bad and was very hot and uncomfortable. I asked if they could check my A/C and was advised that only the heater worked but they may could find a fan. I asked tospeak with a manager and as I watched him pull out of the parking lot they advised he left for the day and was out of town. I asked for a refund or someone else I could speak to and got nothing. I emailed and called the number and address on the card and have yet to get a response from either almost a week later. This was the worst experience I have had with any hotel ever and I travel quite frequently working for a large company. I also have advised everyone I know and care anything about how we were treated and lost an entire night of sleep for a $60 room i paid over $150 for plus parking to be able to park within a mile of where we were staying. The staff was rude and not willing to help much less even talk to you. Not to mention they have six channels but had to wait for the police to leave to try to get a remote that worked that never happened.
