“Nice hotel but the service stinks.”

Our overall stay at this hotel was good. We had a nice room, though it had a funk to it when you walked in the door. It was a smoking room, so I attributed the smell to that. My biggest gripe is that the fridge did not work. We called down to the front desk and the clerk seemed hesitant but said she would send someone up. Two men, one I assume was the manager and maybe an assistant manager, came up to look. The manager decided it was a bad power strip and said he would get us another one. I tried to explain to him that even if he replaced the power strip the fridge wouldn't be cold for hours and that we had things that had to stay cold. He just couldn't grasp this no matter how many times we went around about it. Then, very rudely, he said "so what do you propose we do about this?" I told him that they put us in a room with a non-working fridge and that wasn't acceptable. He got very frustrated with me and was very rude. I told him he needed to get me a fridge that worked, and again he got rude with me. He finally went to find one, and brought it back in. I, of course, thanked him for switching it out for me, but I was very upset with the way he had treated us.
