This hotel appears dated and may be undergoing renovation. Once renovations are completed it should be a nice place. Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of mold, the ceiling is stained, the air conditioning was not on when we arrived and it was over 80° inside. The furniture is haphazardly placed, the carpet was not vacuumed, light switches had to be found by following power cords. I didn't go in the pool but was frankly appalled at the condition of the pool furniture - the cushions were all stained and looked filthy. The front desk staff was friendly but I'll-informed - she said we would have to drive 10 miles to find any restaurant except a pizza parlor (which she was quick to recommend) and 20 miles if we wanted a 'nice' restaurant. We found several restaurants and/or pubs within 3 miles and numerous restaurants just seven miles from the property. Overall I suppose I got what I paid for, that is not much. The property has great potential, being in a scenic area with lakes and hills all around.
