“Awful service”

The room was not bad, it was clean and nice enough, however the location was horrible. Our room was right by the road and the cars going by all night long made it nearly impossible to sleep. All of that could have been dealt with, however, if not for the awful service we experienced. We asked for a late check out, in plenty of advance and then got walked in on by a man from the front desk which is not only unprofessional and discourteous, also wildly inappropriate. We didn't even have enough time to get to the door before he came barging in, while I was only HALF dressed. Then about five minutes after he apologized and left, we got a call from the front desk saying "are you planning on leaving, or should we charge you for another night?" It was only 11:20 at this point, and we had been told a 12:00 late checkout was PERFECTLY FINE. We ended up leaving ten minutes later, to avoid anymore problems. That night, I noticed that two payments had come out of my checking account, instead of the one for the only night I stayed. Upon calling the hotel at midnight because I was so furious, the manager said there was nothing he could do about this other than send a receipt to my email because there was only one payment pulled from my account. He was extremely rude, not helpful, and very condescending. I had to bite my tongue not to tell him I was planning on reporting him for a fraudulent charge to my card, calling the better business bureau, and filing a sexual harassment charge on the man that walked in on me. The next day, the money was back in my account so OBVIOUSLY, it had been taken out and he had corrected it, but not before making me seem like I was stupid for every thinking so. I was planning on keeping my thoughts to myself and only sharing my opinions with my friends and family so they could avoid the same experience by not ever staying at this hotel, but upon receiving this survey in my email, it was just about the last straw. If you want to hear my opinions on your hotel, here you go. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had staying in a hotel and I will never be staying at a Days Inn again.
