“Area and Staff have much to be desired”

The location of this hotel, I should say Motel, is out of their control as the town it is in is very small and has little to offer. Nothing within walking distance and only a few food choices within driving distance. I never did figure out how to turn the shower head on so I had to take a bath. (There are instructions on the faucet but it didn't work. I have never seen a bath tub facet with this type of apparatus for activating the shower.) The staff at the time of the visit are not interested in assisting you. The area is not safe so when you arrive at night, you have to deal with the front office through a safety window. Some of the staff will talk over you no matter how long you give them to finish their point. They base their answer to you off the first few words you say and then never let up to actually determine what it is you need. This was the same behavior from the owner which is most likely why the staff feels this is appropriate. They will help you, it just takes a very long time to communicate your needs. The rooms open to the outside parking lot which is why I prefer to call this place a motel. It is WAY over priced. It was more economical for me to stay in a much nicer hotel in Augusta and travel back to the Allendale area than to stay at this Days Inn.
