When we checked in around 7pm on Easter Sunday, I asked the young clerk about where she would suggest for local restaurants. We had travelled for 12 hours that day and were very tired. The clerk said "well this IS a holiday (Easter Sunday): people are entitled to time off and the local restaurants are closed". I said "oh my". At which time, the clerk then went on to tell me of chain restaurants that were open and down the road. I was surprised that she expressed that attitude and felt she was annoyed that she was working that evening. We were paying guests of the Days Inn and didn't really feel like we were welcome.
