“Expected Better”

stayed there for a wedding. The front desk staff really need a class in Customer Service NONE of them could smile or be pleasant. The room attendance were equally unpleasant. The room smelled of urine when we 1st came in thank goodness the air conditioner took care of the smell. The bathroom had mold/mildew growing in the corners by the tub and did not smell clean. I'm not even so sure the sheets on the bed were clean but they were comfortable and we were tired. The only friendly person we came across was the morning breakfast attendant. When I got home on Sunday had a message from the front desk stating we were being charged because we had a no show in a room. I called them and assured them that we had checked into our 2 rooms and we DID NOT have a 3rd room. I was called nothing short of a LIAR and I was responsible for the payment of a room that I did not check into. The front desk lady assured me that she checked a male into the "extra room" at 9:30 on that Saturday night and was told to "leave it on the card" so she did I did NOT authorize the use of my card to anyone she did not even confirm it with me!!. NOT possible we were all at a wedding so not sure who got a free room. It took me 2 weeks to get this resolved and after ALL my phone calls back to the hotel none of them were returned by the manager or general manager like I told I would be. The pool was nice. Breakfast bar was adequate.
