Dear C. A.Thank you for giving the Days Inn Empire in Sioux Falls, SD a try during your recent trip. I am sorry that you found your room and the hallways to have an odor. I am happy that your room was clean however. I want to let you know that we are working at updating our property by painting our rooms and replacing our bedding package to a new coverlet and bed skirts. Dear K. J.Thank you for taking the time to post a review of the Days Inn Empire. I appreicate your feedback and will certainly try to fix the issues that I can control. I am sorry that you found our hotel to have an odor, and the room to have a grimy, dingy feel to it. Please let me know which room you stayed in, so that we can make sure to get that room deep cleaned. I am sorry that the sheets were worn out. I will also make sure to have my head housekeeper look through our sheets and pull the worn sheets out of the rotation and donate them to the humane society. I will be sure to pass along your comments about the paint peeling in the hallways to my maintenance man, so he can get through and repaint the hallways where necessary. I am glad to hear that you found our breakfast to offer a nice variety. I am also happy to hear that my staff was nice and provided you with good service.
