“I was very disturbed with my stay. When checking in I asked...”

  , Kernersville
I was very disturbed with my stay. When checking in I asked the clerk if there were any first floors availabe and she said no. I had a white friend to call to inquire about the checking in and requesting a first floor room and she immediately offered her a first floor room. I then called the clerk and shared with her the difference she made with the me and the other guest. The clerk said that the rooms were handicap rooms and they try to reserve them for elderly guests. I was conferenced in on the call that my white friend made and the clerk never asked her did she need a handicap room nor her age. The person that called is 42 years old. I requested the manager to call my room when they returned. The manager never called to hear my concerns. When checking out the clerk told me the manager was across the street working at another facility and I can go over there. My family was on our way to a funeral. I was very displeased with the service and lack of concern with what me and my family experienced. I will make it my business never to stay at another Days Inn. Later when other family arrived and checked in and requested a first floor room the clerk had no choice but to grant their request with me standing there, especially since I confronted her with how she treated me unfairly.
