“Unbelievable bereavement rates!!!”

  , Haw River
We went home to attend the funeral of my grandfather and on the way back we had decided to stay at the Days in in Rockford TN. At first appearance it seemed nice enough and they accepted our pet with a $10 pet fee (one night). I had asked what their bereavment rate was and eventually, the gentelman behind the counter never understood what I was talking about but he seemed to understand that I was looking for a discount. He told me that AAA and all other discounts are the same. English lessons may be expensive but if you're going to run a business in this country, English helps. There seemed to be nothing around except a Ruby Tuesday accross the street. It was late and we just wanted a bite to eat that wasn't fast food. Breakfast was completely another story. We were told it was a hot breakfast (I undewrstood the usual, eggs bacon, bisquits and waffles). Just waffles. The attendant still on duty from 8:30 the night before, had to keep filling up the "batter jug" that was a half gallon pitcher that was only filled half way. They also had toast and cornflakes, and an apple that my daughter was afraid to eat. Not the best $75.00 night I've ever spent, but I think it's in my top 100.
