“Needs more improvement”

  , Kansas City Mo
While I enjoyed the Elvis atmosphere and nostalgia, the close proximity to Graceland, and the comfortable bed, there are a few other things I would like to address. Local phone charges. These should be free, yet I was charged .35 to make a local call to Marlowe's BBQ for a limo pickup. The breakfast crew started tearing down all the food at 9am when the sign says 6am-10am. Juice glasses were barely larger than a shot glass. Towels were thin and worn. The renovations were not true renovations but rather something slapped over the old. This was very apparent in the bathroom, where I could see huge gaps between the new countertop and the old. Faucets were wiggly as if they hadn't been installed correctly. Doors were aged and the paint job in the room was not professional. I know these are economically hard times, but if you are going to renovate your property then you need to do it properly. If not the money has been wasted and you will just have to redo it again in a few months.
