“Won't Stay Here Again”

  , Chattanooga
We usually stay elsewhere in Nashville, but due to the SEC tournament, this was all we could find. We won't be coming back. The refrigerator in the room didn't work. The mattress and box springs must have been from 1962. You could feel springs! And, the sheets were so thin you could see through them! The room was clean enough, but I really felt like I might get bed bugs, due to the state of the bed and sheets. Also, the dresser was broken - a drawer was hanging loose because the board to hold it was split, and it was sagging from the weight of the old TV. It looked like it might break in half at any moment. Only the bathroom light, light over the sink, and one light by the bed worked. We couldn't figure out how to get the other 3 to turn on, and all the appliances (TV, fridge, light and microwave) were plugged into one very old power strip.During the night, several crowds of VERY LOUD, VERY DRUNK people were yelling in the courtyard in front of our room. They were swimming around 2 or 3 in the morning, also right outside our room, so we didn't sleep very much at all. No motel staff came to quiet them down, though they had to be disturbing many people. Also, the area was kind of sketchy. When our cab driver let us out, he said, "You guys be careful around here." That was a big warning sign for us.
