“One night I wont forget... for all of the wrong reasons”

  , San Jose
I arrived at the hotel at around 2:30-3:00 AM and was able to check in without any problem. The clerk was very helpful and we even got an upgrade to a king sized room. That's where the good ends....When my girlfriend and I went to our rooms we discovered that the T.V. did not work. We also found out that the microwave didn't work. The bathroom looked like people were still doing construction and grouting and tiling the floor and walls. We fell asleep in beds that felt like I was sleeping on a cardboard box and sheets that were as rough as sandpaper. At 6 or 7 AM (3 hours of solid sleep), my girlfriend and I were woken up by several kids and adults being very loud on both levels of the hotel. I understand that most guests are there to visit Disneyland and that the kids are always excited ( I was one, once, but my parents were responsible enough to keep me quiet), but at the very least if you could encourage your guests to stay quiet in the mornings as not everyone wants to be up at 6 or 7 AM.My girlfriend and I went up stairs for breakfast, but were disappointed on the quality and variety of food. The only thing available with any nutritional value were the bananas. There was one type of jelly for the toast. The doughnuts were soggy with oil. All cereal was crushed when dispensed. The room itself was cramped and depressing, reeking of tacky 50's-esque design. When my girlfriend and I attempted to check out, we waited for easily 20 minutes before anyone showed up at the desk. Once we checked out, my girlfriend and I breathed a sigh of relief knowing we would be spending the next three nights at the Hilton for a cheaper price for a bigger bed and quieter room.
