“My first negative review of a Days Inn”

I stay in Days Inns regularly throughout the country. They have always been clean, comfortable, efficiently run and a terrific value. This is the first time I have even run across one that has not met the standards I have been accustomed. Although the amount charged was only slightly more than on my reservation receipt at check in, I pointed out to the desk agent that the amount on each room was different (renting two identical rooms). She said she had noticed the difference and was going to correct it. The correction was not made. The hotel room was freeway facing, noisey and shook when heavy vehicles passed. The walkways were stained and unclean, and he paint needs to be refreshed. The interior of my rooms were old and dated, unlike any fresh clean Days Inn I've stayed in before. Very disappointed.
