“The worst stay of my life”

  , San Antonio
To say that I had a pleasant experience at this hotel would be the farthest thing from the truth. I reserved a room about a month and a half in advance, to which, was a king non-smoking. Upon my arrival, I was given my room key and provided no directions to my room. After finding my room, my wife and I were unloading our car because we were planning on staying for four nights we were confronted by not only one, but two homeless people looking to score cash or drugs of some sort and after making scene they finally left. Opening the king non-smoking room was an atrocity in its own right as well. All of the furniture in the room was broken, the linens on the beds were disturbed and stained like someone had previously taken a cat nap then left, none of the lights worked in the room, the room wreaked of smoke so much that it was absolutely unbearable to breathe, there were cigarette burns all over the tables and the beds, and the carpet had a giant stain on it that resembled a murder scene. The bathroom was the foulest smelling room I've ever been in. Upon seeing all of this, I went to the front desk to complain because it was the most unacceptable thing I've ever experienced. The manager offered my wife and I a different room to which had the same aspects of the first just less smoke smell. The roaches, and the beetles were too much to handle. We lifted the sheets the first night and roaches crawled from underneath the sheets. I honestly don't know what was worst, the terrible accomodations, or the fact that there were drug deals going on in plain sight of the office and the authorities weren't notified at all. I had but no choice to stay the four nights because I couldn't afford to go anywhere else, but I hope that with this review people will see this and stay away from this establishment. I was very dissatisfied with my stay and all of the "accomodations" of it as well. I travel quite a lot and stay at Days Inn's all over the country, and have never had an experience quite like this. This by far was the worst stay of my life, and I will not be giving my business to them anymore. Furthermore, the whole Wyndham family should be appauled by such an establishment carrying their moniker becasue they do not deserve it.
