“One Night Stay to See Skyline Drive”

  , Silver Spring
We stayed one night and chose this hotel because we were bringing the dog and decided to book a room last minute. The people were very friendly and nice. The quality room left a lot to be desired. The beds weren't terribly comfortable, the decor dated, and just a feeling of old. We only saw one bug in the room, unfortunately I found it on my face at 5am. The location is right between Luray and Skyline Drive, so it is very convenient for seeing the fall leaves and the Cavern, which were the two destinations on our trip. The downside of the location is there are no other buildings or restaurants near enough to walk to. But the front desk was kind of enough to give us a few menus that delivered. Overall, nice people, dingy rooms, and you're paying for the location in the fall and to bring your pet. And we could hear our neighbor's conversation through the walls, fortunately they were fairly quiet.
