“Horrible experience - almost killed me!”

  , Winona
I have sleep apnea, and require a CPAP machine to sleep. After traveling all day, I was exhausted, and collapsed into bed. During the night the power went out, and I couldn't bring myself to enough to get up. When I finally DID come to, I found myself gasping for air. There was no storm going on, and no apparent reason for the power outage. The unit was still plugged in. I unplugged it and replugged it into a different outlet and it again started working. It was still working when I got up in the morning. There was also trouble with some of the lights in the room. Some worked, others did not, The unit was not aqdequately cleaned from the previous tenannt - even their bath soap was left in the shower stall. I dont mind using my towels over again, but I do have a problem with sharing someone else's personqal things. We were unable to shower, because there was no hot water. When we told the clerk about this, he said the plumber was still sleeping and that he would contact him"later". When we checked out, we tolld the clerk, and he seemed uninterested in what we were concerned about.
