“Great value!”

Certain chains can vary widely depending on where you are visiting. This Days Inn is clearly a bit older, however, lots of recent renovations mean that you feel as if you are staying in a much newer motel with clean and fresh amenities. In other words, don't expect a top notch resort--but do expect good service and clean rooms that really exceed your typical $60-$70 a night motel/hotel. The Days Inn Springfield is great if you are looking to travel to Swarthmore or into center city Philadelphia. The hotel is fairly close to a SEPTA stop (1.5 miles & easy to walk to through a safe neighborhood) and one can get to Swarthmore by bus, cab ($7) or on foot on the sidewalks. I especially liked the diner across the street & the fact that I was so close to a mall and lots of other restaurants. The only downside is that they do not serve a free breakfast, however, a restaurant is attached and the diner (which I liked an awful lot) is very close & opens early. Overall, this is a clean, friendly, and conveniently located establishment.
