“booking online”

When I booked online after looking at Priceline, hotwire, and booking.com; all 3 sites outlined an 83.00 and 103.00 room. They were both with double beds. The only difference was the 103.00 room stated there was a seating area which I thought would have been with a sofa and/or a table and chairs. Not a desk with a chair. Upon checking in, I was advised that they really don't have rooms with seating areas and that I should have called the hotel direct to book. I would have thought the breakdown of the rooms would have come from Days Inn and that the information was correct. So, I ended up having to book a room with a jacuzzi tub, that I didn't want or need, so that I could have a little more room. I also had to pay additional money. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and tried to accommodate, but said due to the room being booked online, it was hard to resolve an online discrepancy. So, for future, someone needs to check the information supplied to your online suppliers, so that this doesn't happen, I was at the front desk for an hour trying to resolve this, which should never had occurred. I have booked rooms on the internet before and have had no issues like this ever.
