“Dirty and Won't Fix”

There was trash and food under the bed (that wasn't ours) and ants crawling around on the counter. I tried to call the front desk when I realized that our phone did not work! I decided to stop in the office and let them know so they could fix it. What I got in response was crazy. The lady asked me which room I was in because she had a list of rooms where the phones didn't work and wanted to know if ours was one of them. After realizing that we weren't on "the list", she asked if the phone on the far side of the room worked. I asked her, "What far side?! We only have one phone." Apparently there should have been two phones in the room and she could transfer us to another room but couldn't fix it. Really? Then she wanted to know what I wanted her to do about the trash. Hmm. Let's see. How about clean it up? So, one of the kids diapers had leaked and, unfortunately, there was some pee on the bed. I asked her to have housekeeping come in, change the sheets and clean under the bed and spray some bleach on the counter. So, you'd think that they would have fixed it, right? No! All they did was remake the bed. The pillows were those polyfill type that had been washed and were clumped together.There was no way to adjust the temperature of the room. To top it all off, there was poop stains under the toilet rim. Missed breakfast because they stopped serving at 9 am. You'd think someone would have told us. When I informed the manager of the problems when we checked out, she told me she would give me a 20% discount for my next stay. Sorry, but I am pretty sure that I will never return and I told her so.
