We checked in from a long drive from Ohio and was exhausted...Brandon was the first person I met at the front desk. Immediately before I could reach the counter he was saying hello and asking me if he could help me. Wonderful attitude and friendly and smiling. I explained I need a room that absolutely no smoking had been done in it, as I have allegeries....he expld all rooms are smoke free but I expressed that I have bad allergy and need to be absolutely sure. I explained need good reception for internet. He put us in the last tower on the end which we were happy when going to the room...nice and quite and no one in the halls..we were looking forward to relaxing and just getting away for weekend and visit family in the area the next day. We entered the room and it was like stepping into a deep cold 38 degrees...I told my husband maybe someone left the balcony door cracked..checked, it was closed...examined heater unit and found completely turned off....told my husband turn on heater and it will get warm in 20-30 mins...turned on high....the heater blow out luke warm air...we waited with out coats on for 30 increase in heat...contacted the front desk and Brandon came up to room and checked out.....he agreed could not stay in that room....he went to find us a room with heat...we moved ourselves to the hallway as it was warmer out there..Brandon returned in 10-15 mins.... escorted us up to the 5th floor to room 555 and apologized and explained they would comp us on the difference of the room. He apologized it was so late and that we had this experience. It was discovered that housekeeping turned off the whole 4th floor from heat. We love to stay there when we come home(as we were born and raised there local and went to school with the owners) but we must say to be honest the prices are a bit much as we live and have traveled to several major cities and small towns and in comparison the price is on the high side compared to the market and location. Brandon differently knows how to handle customer service and should be rewarded with a raise for his outstanding customer service as we have been there several times and have never been treated as good a Brandon did. A+ for him in putting the customer first. Keep the good work up Brandon. See you Memorial weekend.
