We were very impressed with everything. The TV wi-fi and provision of adequate desk and accessible socket were very good. Extra pillows provided as standard in the room, and packed into zipped bags was a bonus. Our room, being a twin, was on the north side of the building so we were treated to a rural view and rabbits' spring morning antics rather than merely the car park. The heater warmed the room but the bathroom/wetroom was icy unless we propped open the door to 'spread the warmth' during the night. The continental breakfast was very good and for those who want cooked fare, the service area immediately outside provides a choice of eateries. However, the buffet area was so small that we did wonder how it would seem were the hotel full; there were very few diners when we were there. The airy foyer with a variety of seating was beautifully decorated in the evening with red tea lights- a nice welcoming touch which wasn't over-pretentious.We were fortunate to be using a discounted voucher which gave us the opportunity to stay/try Days Inn at a much cheaper price than the standard room rate. Honestly, we wouldn't be booking at the normal rate of approx £120.
