“Our house keeper came on the second morning before 9:00...”

Our house keeper came on the second morning before 9:00 a.m. Since we didn't put the sign up to not disturb, that was fine. We told her we needed our room done later but we hadn't gotten up yet. She asked if we just needed towels and we said no, we wanted our room done. When we came back at 10:00 a.m. after eating some light breakfast, she wanted to just give us towels again. We said we would be leaving within an hour and we wanted our room done. Well, after a long day outdoors, we wanted to come back to a relaxing room and we were dismayed to see that our towels were still on the floor from our showers earlier and our bed wasn't made. We were very disappointed and even called the front desk but they said housekeeping had gone from the day. The clerk said that our maid had marked off our room as being done or cleaned. We tried twice to tell her we wanted it done, but she both times just wanted to give us towels. We did get clean towels, but I had to ask the clerk to take our dirty ones away. We were both frustrated with how things worked out that day. If someone doesn't know enough English or understand it, maybe they should just do the room regardless. The first night we couldn't get our lamps at the side of our kingsize bed to go on. I had to call the front desk, but he couldn't get away and he said maybe they were unplugged. Well, they were, and so my husband had to get on his hands and knees and get under the bed to find the plugs. We also had to find outlets to plug in our cell phones and then ended up unplugging others so we could.
