“Reservations dont really seem to matter...”

  , Littleton
This stay was supposed to be a mini getaway for my husband and me before our baby was born. My husband specifically booked a room for me which had a Jacuzzi tub because I am very pregnant and achy all over. The morning of the stay, he received a call stating that the room was overbooked, and that we were no longer going to get the room we had reserved. This of course made me cry (hormones), but he reminded me that this hotel had an indoor pool and hot tub. While a pregnant woman cant actually use a hot tub, I thought that the hot water jets would feel amazing on my feet, and floating in a pool could offer some relief to the aches and pains that come with being preggers. After check-in, we noticed that the pool room was under construction and was closed to guests. At this point it was far too late to drive home, so I got to sleep in a bed that was far too soft to actually get anywhere close to comfortable, and the tub in my room was too small to actually fit my pregnant self into. UUGGHH. I wish they would have let us know that their biggest amenities were closed, and I really wish they would have kept our reservations. The staff was apologetic, but they did nothing to resolve or in any way improve our stay. Also, their cable tv suffers from a poor picture on the local channels with fuzzy pics and the ever annoying ghosting affect. Perhaps they should get someone out there to take a look at their system.
