“Accommodations below standard in every way.”

  , Green Bay
I was part of a wedding party using (5) rooms for (2) days on the Columbus Day weekend. We experienced roaches, stink bugs, moths, and one of my rooms had fruit flies. The carpet was filthy, bedding and towels dingy. One of my rooms was fully stocked, my other had 3 towels and a half bottle of shampoo, food in the freezer, and one soap. There were cigarrette burn holes all over one of my bedspreads in a non-smoking room. The furniture and equipment was hap-hazard with some rooms in fair condition; most missing or non-functional. Three of our rooms smelled so badly of mold, dampness and beer.It was obvious that the extended stay visitors had children, were indigent, and had greater needs for living accommodations. Children were trying to play up and down the walkways that were littered with butt cans, grills and worn out toys. The breakfast was pitiful, tiny stale donuts, cereal, waffle machine and no butter, and one inch of serup in an old bottle. When asked for some type of butter, the attendant responded "our shipment didn't come in." - for the whole weekend? (No one could go to a grocery store?) One ice machine for the entire hotel - guests had to go to the lobby with a bucket and wait for someone to go in the back and fill it. Some of our phones did not work room to room and still had the numbers of other rooms that they came from. (phones were mixed up) The lobby bathrooms were filthy and frightening, with toilets that were full of excrement and paper strewn on the floors.
