“Weekly rats”

  , Avon
When I pulled into this Days Inn someone had fiddled with the sign out front that now said "Contractors and Constr workers we have weekly rats" well I should of known someone staying there had updated the sign. While the staff were friendly the place was about one of the worst hotels I've stayed in and I travel for business all the time. Run down and dirty looking on the outside and rooms smelled like garbage and mildew on the inside. Decor looked like it hadn't been changed since Nixon was president. Other guests were smoking in the outside stair wells and drinking beer in the parking lot so that's the ambience. Room was dark and ugly but outside lights shine into room when trying to sleep. Mainly it's a place that the low end contruction workers were staying in who were often enjoying grilling by the pool while smoking and drinking beer. About par for Kentucky small town anyway.
