“Very disappointed in a Days Inn Motel”

I made my reservation for this motel about two weeks in advance thru central reservations. I had been given my number while on the phone-I decided to confirm with the center on my day of travel at which time I was told they had never heard of me. They told me I should call the Seattle motel to see if by chance they had my reservation...and even if they didn't...there were still available rooms. The Seattle motel didn't have a clue. I was able to reserve a room for that night-I rented their last king room, got a confirmation number, let them know to NOT give that room away as I would be coming in late. I did arrive late-checked in-only to find out it was not the king I had reserved. I called the front desk to hear that they only have two kings and they had given those out earlier. I told him I had my confirmation number for a king made earlier that day he replied he wasn't even sure who I had talked to as he was the only male person working .. and he didn't remember me. I found it interesting that I was in their system--maybe it was the gardener. I let him know that I wasn't happy with all of the confusion at their motel and that I doubted I would ever come back...his reply was-"ok". The room was clean-the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the pillows need replaced--but the biggest problem was the refrigerator-it wasn't working of which was confirmed the next evening when I returned to the room to find everything was room temperature. At that point it was too late to check out. I called and got another reservation at another motel for the next day. I then went down to the front desk where the same man was and let him know that I wouldn't be staying and why. His response was "ok". The next morning I checked out with the girl at the counter-told her about the issues-her response was "ok". When I asked for contact info on the owners-she looked over her shoulder and said it was the name on the plaque and I could google their contact info. I won't be back...will make sure anyone I know will not go there...not good marketing for a Days Inn.
