“Dirty and run-down”

  , Princeton
A cheap and dirty motel, conveniently located off Hwy. 77, the Days Inn Princeton apparently hasn't seen renovations in decades. I used to stay here as a kid with my parents on our way to Florida, and 20 years later, staying with my own children, it seems that no money has been spent on the property. The exterior is run-down, with only two sets of stairs to get to the second level, which not only makes it not-accessible and inconvenient, but one of the stairs in a dimly-lit back hallway that is also unsafe. The rooms were dirty and run-down and the crib was broken and disgusting - our baby slept in bed with us instead. The rooms were also noisy. About the only upside was the beds, which were quite comfortable and made for a decent sleep. All in all, you get what you pay for.
