“Bad check out”

We arrived late at the hotel and got our room. The room smelled as though someone smoked in there and then covered it up with perfume. When we left the next morning, we were told that we can use the express check out and all we had to do was call the front desk to let them know that we were leaving. We tried calling twice and no one answered. About an hour later we tried to just go to the front desk to check out and there was a line. We then tried to call the hotel via the 800 number and it took forever to connect. When we tried to complain to the days inn customer service, we were kept on the phone for 15 minutes before anyone came to the phone! It was a very frustrating experience.
