I've only been here 13 years, so you have me beat! I can attest to the changes over the years. It has been like night and day, to say the least! We appreciate your continued patronage, because without it the hotel likely would not have been worth saving in the first place. It is because of guests such as yourself that we exist in our current state, so rather than thank Days Inn it would be better if you patted yourself on the back instead.As a long-time staff member, I have been lucky enough to see the ups and downs, and I can honestly say that this place has never been better than it is today, and we are still improving!Thank you for sticking with us through the tough times, because there certainly were some. We appreciate your business, and we hope we can be your hotel of choice for the next 20 years as well! « hide

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to improve. While your experience was not entirely a positive one, it does help us to hear our failures so that we can take action to prevent them in the future. As I responded to a previous review regarding the state of the meeting room, we have since cleaned all the chairs and are also replacing a number of our tables. Also, with regards to the bathroom, I personally checked that room and it does need some TLC. We will be deep cleaning that entire section's bathrooms in order to ensure that future guests do not have the same issue.On a positive note, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our complimentary continental breakfast. We have been expanding upon it these last few months and the changes seem to be well liked by our guests. We are even planning to add hard-boiled eggs in the near future!It is always great the hear that our staff was helpful, and it is something we pride ourselves on. We are in this business because we like to make our guests feel at home, and every time we hear a positive remark about our staff it lets us know we are appreciated.I hope that you will choose to stay with us again on your next visit to Stevens Point! « hide

Thank you for taking time out of your day to pat us on the back! Some days working at a hotel can be a thankless job, so when someone goes out of their way to send us kind words, it really makes us all feel like we're doing something that matters. I've noticed from my own traveling that it seems like the more money you pay, the less amenities you receive. It seems to be increasingly uncommon to find a full service hotel that includes a free breakfast, or a room for over $100 a night that has a fridge and a microwave. We try to offer the best possible value while still maintaining a reasonable rate. Plus, those pillow-top mattresses are incredible!We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip through Stevens Point! « hide

We appreciate you taking the time to give us such a glowing review! I also appreciate your negative comments because it lets us know what our guest's concerns are. It can be very difficult to see the property the way a guest does when you work there. The couches you mentioned are being put into the two rooms which are having their carpet replaced this week. It is difficult to find a place to store so many things, especially when you have a busy weekend!On those busy mornings that breakfast area can definitely get a bit cramped. Believe it or not we actually expanded the breakfast area once already. Thank you for taking the time to review our property! We love all the positive input we have been receiving lately. It really helps re-energize our staff to know that they are doing such a great job. We are aware of the specific heat units you are speaking of, and we are trying to figure out a way to get them to regulate the temperature better. We recently installed motion sensors to control them while guests are not present in the room in order to ensure the rooms aren't too hot or cold when you check in.
