“Disappointed”

There were several details that were out of order and unacceptable. I informed the staff at the end of my visit so that it could be fixed before the next guest. I was laughed at....as though my list of complaints were a lie. There was no apology...and no sense of customer service.My opinion is that the hotel staff feel trapped in their position. They did not seem happy. And pride in their establishment did not seem to be a priority. Here is the list of issues that i submitted:The refrigerator was filled with food from the last guestThere were no tissues in the tissue boxThe shower appeared clean...but the soap wrapper from the last guest was on the ledge in the showerThe refrigerator makes noises all day and night...that originally had me wondering if there were rodents in the room. It was only the refrigerator...but i should not have felt the need to worry and search.The TV turned on automatically each morning at 6:46am. This was the most frustrating because on the second night i looked forward to sleeping in. After you wake up to a blaring television unexpectedly...you can not return to sleep.Also...in my opinion...i would like there to be recycling in the hotels i stay in.In short...i will not be staying at this Day's Inn again. I don't actually believe that they wish to be of service to those travelling. Thank you for sending out this survey. I'm glad this experience did not go without notice.
