The hotel was EXTREMELY old. I felt like I had time traveled back into the 1970s or earlier. My room reminded me of a haunted house with all the nasty old wallpaper, flowered carpet, and OLD furniture. It was quite creepy and I was uncomfortable there. The sheets and blankets smelled so bad, I could hardly sleep with them. The TV awkwardly located, making it difficult to watch from bed, and the TV kept flickering black on certain channels. It had that old design where the rooms aren't connected in any way to the lobby and there are no elevators. The worst was the fact that the stairs were VERY DANGEROUS. They are those really old design of metal stairs where each stair looks like a barbed wire fence (basically, just hundreds of open holes and a little bit of support from the metal). I had to take my shoes off and walk up and down the stairs in SLIPPERS, even though I had to carry up all my luggage, because otherwise the heels from my shoes would have went right through the holes in the stairs, and I would have fallen and broken my neck. If Days Inn hasn't been sued yet for that, the day will soon come. Overall, would never stay again.
